Trish:I'm Trish Ware, mom of seven, former labor nurse turned seven, figure business owner and business mentor for B2C brands.
Trish:If you're marketing to moms.
Trish:Parents or real people who are not gonna make money off your offer.
Trish:This show was made for you.
Trish:You tried the big name coaches, but their strategies weren't built for your audience.
Trish:Here we do sales differently.
Trish:No bro marketing.
Trish:No cold dms, no weird hooks.
Trish:No fake urgency, just clear messaging aligned offers and strategy that actually converts.
Trish:You are not here to hustle harder and miss all your family events.
Trish:You're here to scale smarter with simplicity.
Trish:So let's get you sold out.
Trish:Welcome to the Sold Out Sales School podcast.
Trish:I'm Trish Weir, and I help mom focused entrepreneurs.
Trish:Turn their content into cash.
Trish:If you've been posting consistently, growing your audience, but wondering why is nobody buying when you launch your offer, friend, this episode is for you.
Trish:Here's what I need you to hear.
Trish:You do not have a pricing problem.
Trish:You don't have an Instagram algorithm problem, and you definitely don't have a, people can't afford me problem.
Trish:Here's what I need you to hear.
Trish:I know you're thinking, oh my gosh, I have a pricing problem.
Trish:I have an Instagram algorithm problem.
Trish:I have a, people can't afford me problem.
Trish:I know you're thinking those things because I've had this exact conversation with hundreds of mom focused entrepreneurs in the last couple years.
Trish:Birth workers with tons of followers, but zero.
Trish:Sales lactation consultants with engagement, but crickets when they launch their offer.
Trish:Parenting coaches who get dozens of dms asking for free advice.
Trish:Hello Friendone.
Trish:But the second they mention their paid offer, ghost Town, and here's what breaks my heart.
Trish:Most of them think the solution is to post more of what they're doing or grow their audience bigger or drop their prices lower.
Trish:But that is not it at all.
Trish:Let me tell you about a client.
Trish:She is a lactation consultant.
Trish:Tons of knowledge certified has all the credentials.
Trish:Passionate about helping moms.
Trish:Helped thousands of moms in person and she came to me.
Trish:She was posting five times a week educational carousels about latch res, about breastfeeding, beautiful graphics, tips and tricks.
Trish:Her engagement was solid and people were saving her posts, sharing them in her stories, commenting from the outside.
Trish:It really looks.
Trish:Like she's crushing it, but when she talked about her offer, she was not selling from an audience that should be buying, and she felt devastated like she was doing something wrong.
Trish:She said, Trish, I don't understand.
Trish:They clearly need what I'm offering.
Trish:They engage with me.
Trish:Maybe my price is too high and friend, this is where I have to lovingly call you out.
Trish:You do not have a pricing problem.
Trish:You have a buyer problem.
Trish:So here's the truth that nobody talks about.
Trish:There's a massive difference between friends and buyers.
Trish:Friends will like your post friends will save your content.
Trish:Friends will even DM you asking where you got your outfit or telling you how much they love you.
Trish:But friends do not invest in your offers.
Trish:Your buyers do, your fans do.
Trish:Your best fan ever.
Trish:And the reason some content creators and entrepreneurs are not getting sales, maybe you are not getting sales, isn't because you don't have an audience.
Trish:It's because
Trish:you've accidentally built an audience full of friends instead of buyers, they're in the friend zone.
Trish:Girl, you've been creating content for Scrollers instead of.
Trish:Purchasers, and I get it.
Trish:I understand you like the vanity metrics, but this is not your fault.
Trish:Nobody taught you the difference.
Trish:Every business coach out there is telling you, post this hook, do this show up consistently.
Trish:Add value, build trust, and those things matter, but they're not enough.
Trish:So here is the business principle most people miss when they're marketing to mom content builds awareness, but content alone does not build buyers.
Trish:This is what I realized in my own business, and I'm talking about years ago when I was posting my heart out and wondering why am I not hitting my income goals and everything changed.
Trish:I stopped asking, how do I get more followers?
Trish:And started focusing on how do I build an audience of people who are ready to invest?
Trish:And that question led me to create the framework that I'm about to share with you.
Trish:So I'm gonna share with you the content bridge framework.
Trish:Think of this like your business has three sections, a bridge with three lanes, okay?
Trish:You've got your social content, which is your section one.
Trish:This is where you are right now.
Trish:You're posting on an Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, whatever you're creating, awareness, people are discovering you, getting to know.
Trish:You may be starting to trust you.
Trish:And that is important, but it's not enough to create buyers.
Trish:Section two of my bridge is a micro experience.
Trish:This is the missing piece.
Trish:This is what you need to have.
Trish:This is what some of my clients did not have.
Trish:Micro experiences are things like free challenges, like workshops, masterclasses experiences, where your audience gets to feel your expertise firsthand, not just read about it on a carousel.
Trish:Then the third part of your bridge is your core offer.
Trish:This is your paid program, your signature service, the transformation, the outcome that you actually sell.
Trish:Most mom focused entrepreneurs are trying to jump directly from section one to three.
Trish:From social content straight to a paid offer, which does work.
Trish:And I do use that in my strategy.
Trish:And that gap.
Trish:Girl, it's too wide.
Trish:Your audience isn't going to take a jump that far.
Trish:They need the bridge in the middle.
Trish:So let me break down why you've been building fans.
Trish:Instead of buyers using something, I call the break framework B is being seen.
Trish:And that's, you see them exactly where they're at with what they're struggling with, with their main problem.
Trish:Your content probably acknowledges where your best fan ever is stuck, which is good, but is it calling out the struggle, the problem she has in a way that makes her think, this is urgent.
Trish:I need to fix this now, or are they just nodding along and scrolling?
Trish:The R is to right the wrong.
Trish:Here's where a lot of entrepreneurs fail.
Trish:You're educating, but you're not challenging the wrong beliefs, the limiting beliefs, the false lies, the lies they're believing, that's keeping her stuck.
Trish:You're teaching them what to do, but you're not addressing why they haven't done it yet.
Trish:That limiting belief that is the key to urgency.
Trish:The E is envision.
Trish:We're gonna envision what their life looks like on the other side of working with you, not just, I'll help you breastfeed successfully, but you're gonna paint the picture.
Trish:And this is a formula or a framework that I created based on some sales books that I've consumed over the last few years and some trainings that I've done in sales psychology.
Trish:So the e is, we are going to paint the picture of what life will look like when they solve their main, core problem.
Trish:So not just, I'll help you breastfeed successfully.
Trish:What does that mean?
Trish:Paint the picture.
Trish:Imagine feeding your baby without pain, without stress, without questioning.
Trish:If you're doing it right, imagine sitting there feeling so happy.
Trish:In this quiet moment with your baby, the next thing is the A, and that's your authority.
Trish:You want to really position yourself as the expert who can help them get there, or are you so busy giving away free value that you've forgotten to remind them why you're the one that they need?
Trish:The K is knocked down the gap between the problem, the hope, your authority, and what gets them there.
Trish:You have to confidently invite them to take the next step with you, not just, oh, go to my Lincoln bio if you're interested, but give them directions, tell 'em what to do.
Trish:When your content consistently follows this type of framework.
Trish:The sales psychology behind it is powerful, and you have that middle bridge, the micro experience where your BFE becomes a buyer, so.
Trish:We don't necessarily need to touch your offer.
Trish:We don't need to lower your prices.
Trish:We don't even need to change your content topics that much.
Trish:Maybe we do 'cause that is my jam.
Trish:But what we do need to do is we need to create a micro experience.
Trish:Where they get to come, they get to experience you and decide if you are the authority for them.
Trish:We have to rebuild your content strategy using the break framework.
Trish:Every post has to have a purpose.
Trish:Every post needs to walk through the break framework.
Trish:And third, you need to deliver incredible value.
Trish:You can teach the why behind the techniques, not just the, you know, not the what.
Trish:You can create moments where these moms will have actual breakthroughs and you can let them experience what it feels like to learn from you.
Trish:And when that happens, you're gonna have signups, you're gonna have sales.
Trish:Same audience, same offer, same pricing, but this time you're gonna build a bridge.
Trish:Now, friend, I'm sharing this with you because I know you're in one of two places right now.
Trish:Either you're like my client who was posting consistently growing her audience, but feeling defeated every time she sold because nobody was buying it.
Trish:Or maybe you've gotten a few sales here and there, but it feels really random and inconsistent.
Trish:Nothing you can go to the bank on and you just can't figure out how to make it predictable.
Trish:Either way, the solution is the same.
Trish:You need to build the bridge.
Trish:You need content that actually moves people towards buying.
Trish:Not just content that gets likes, and you need those micro experiences that let your audience experience your expertise before they invest.
Trish:This is not about working harder, it is not about posting more.
Trish:It's about being strategic with the content you're already creating.
Trish:So here's your action step for this week.
Trish:Y'all knew I had one coming and I actually want you to do this, not just not along and not do it.
Trish:So I want you to audit your last 10 posts.
Trish:And I want you to ask yourself a question for each one.
Trish:Does this post make my best fan ever feel seen exactly in what she's struggling with?
Trish:Does it challenge any of her limiting beliefs or beliefs that are keeping her stuck there?
Trish:Does it paint a clear picture of the hope of what's possible when we solve it?
Trish:Does it position you as the expert with the solution?
Trish:And does it have a clear next step?
Trish:And is that next step moving her closer to your offer?
Trish:If you're answering no to most of these questions, you're building a friend and not a fan, not a buyer.
Trish:And listen, I am here to help you.
Trish:So if you have questions, shoot me a DM on Instagram.
Trish:I am Trish Ware, and we can chat about the ways in which we can work together to start bringing in daily consistent sales.
Trish:Until then, go do that content audit.
Trish:And remember, you are not.
Trish:Failing.
Trish:You're just missing a piece and let's build that bridge together.
Trish:Make sure you hit subscribe, leave a review or leave a comment and I'll see you again next week.
Trish:Bye for now.
