Welcome to Sold Out Sales School, the podcast for women with heart led impact driven offers who are tired of being the Internet's best kept secret.
Trish:I'm Trish Ware, mom of seven, former labor nurse turned seven, figure business owner and business mentor for B2C brands.
Trish:If you're marketing to moms.
Trish:Parents or real people who are not gonna make money off your offer.
Trish:This show was made for you.
Trish:You tried the big name coaches, but their strategies weren't built for your audience.
Trish:Here we do sales differently.
Trish:No bro marketing.
Trish:No cold dms, no weird hooks.
Trish:No fake urgency, just clear messaging aligned offers and strategy that actually converts.
Trish:You're not here to hustle harder and miss all your family events.
Trish:You're here to scale smarter with simplicity.
Trish:So let's get you sold out.
Trish:I'm about to show you why 99% of female entrepreneurs are sabotaging their own sales.
Trish:With their pricing content, and by the end of this video, you are going to know exactly how to create content that makes moms thank you for charging premium prices.
Trish:Here's what happened to one of my very first one-on-one clients.
Trish:She was a parenting mindset coach, and she was charging about $200.
Trish:She was creating content that spoke affordable confidence building and wondering why she was attracting these bargain hunters.
Trish:to:Trish:For the exact same service just by changing how she talked about it, and I'm going to give you the exact content framework that transforms how moms perceive your pricing.
Trish:Plus the three psychological principles that make premium pricing feel like a no-brainer to your audience, even if you've never created viral content before.
Trish:Even if you think moms won't pay premium prices.
Trish:Even if you're scared to charge what you're worth, stay with me because what I'm about to share works for any female entrepreneur selling to moms or parents.
Trish:Now, don't worry if you are thinking my audience is different, or My industry doesn't work that way.
Trish:I thought the same thing with the birth course and my birth course is one of the pricier birth courses.
Trish:And I've made seven figures selling it.
Trish:I'm gonna show you why understanding mom psychology is actually your biggest advantage.
Trish:Let me tell you exactly how I discovered this because it started with a massive content failure.
Trish:So when I started Labor Nurse Mama, I was creating content, obviously selling to moms, and I kept seeing the same pattern.
Trish:I was creating amazing content.
Trish:It got tons of engagement.
Trish:But when it came time to sell, at first it was like crickets from my content.
Trish:Mind you, I'd have to have a big launch or a masterclass or a webinar or whatever, and I was posting, you know, I posted about my expertise.
Trish:I shared valuable tips.
Trish:I built a huge audience.
Trish:But the moment I would mention my price or my offer and my content, I wasn't getting as much engagement.
Trish:And I had this light bulb moment watching, you know, some of my other friends that were in Masterminds with me, and one of them was a mindset coach, and she was struggling with this exact problem.
Trish:She was creating content about budget, friendly confidence, and she was doing.
Trish:I can't remember exactly what she was doing.
Trish:She was in the first mastermind I was in and she was charging 97 for her program.
Trish:But what I noticed is that these moms who were commenting, I can't afford this, they're of course posting about like all this expensive stuff they were doing, right.
Trish:And I realized the problem wasn't that moms couldn't afford our higher prices.
Trish:The problem was how we were talking about pricing in our content.
Trish:And this is the same for you.
Trish:So when I worked with, if we go back to one of my first one-on-one clients, we completely flipped her content strategy using that framework that I figured out and what I'm about to share with you.
Trish:Instead of budget friendly competence building, right?
Trish:Or instead of content that's gonna keep them in the friend free zone, right?
Trish:We wanna position your you as the answer, as the premium.
Trish:The premium answer to their problem.
Trish:Same program, same audience, but you can take an offer that's not selling at a low price, increase it to a higher price and sell it out in 48 hours.
Trish:The difference and the difference with my client was her content strategy, period.
Trish:And here's what most of you get wrong about creating pricing content for moms.
Trish:They think, or you think that you need to make everything sound affordable and accessible.
Trish:And they'll use words like budget friendly or affordable, or won't break the bank and the psychology behind this is when you lead with affordability, you're actually training them to think about price first and value second.
Trish:And moms are the worst audience to do this with because moms are expert budget seekers.
Trish:They know the difference between cheap and valuable.
Trish:They will spend $300 on a car seat without blinking because they understand the value, but they'll research a $30 toy for freaking weeks.
Trish:The secret is creating content that makes your audience think about value.
Trish:Before they think about the price, and I'm going to show you exactly how to do this using what I call the three Ps of pricing.
Trish:And I'm going to show you exactly how to do this using what I call the three Ps of pricing content for the mama market as a mouthful.
Trish:The first P is mastering the price versus value equation in your content, and this is where the magic happens.
Trish:Here's what I mean.
Trish:Instead of creating content that talks about what you do, you need to create content that talks about what she gets.
Trish:Not what you do, what she gets.
Trish:So let me show you the difference with a real example.
Trish:So we'll go back to the mindset coach.
Trish:Her old content looked like this.
Trish:Five, easy, confident tips for busy moms.
Trish:Tons of use, lots of engagement.
Trish:But when she pitched her $47 program in the caption, she got maybe two sales.
Trish:Her new content using my framework, how I helped this mom stop yelling at her kids in parentheses by fixing her self-worth same tips, but now she's leading with the change, the transformation that this mom got.
Trish:The hook follows what I call the fortune teller archetype from viral content.
Trish:This mindset shift is going to change how you show up as a mom forever.
Trish:But here's the key.
Trish:She's not talking about confidence building.
Trish:She's talking about becoming the mom.
Trish:Her BFE always wanted to be stopping the cycle of mom guilt and raising emotionally healthy kids.
Trish:That's worth way more than confidence tips.
Trish:Do you see the difference in the content?
Trish:She uses the four component alignment system, spoken hook.
Trish:So she's doing a, a, I know y'all are afraid of doing talking head videos, but her hook.
Trish:I'm about to show you how one mindset shifts stop this mom from yelling.
Trish:Her visual hook is a before and after of a stressed mom versus a calm mom.
Trish:Her text hook.
Trish:Which is on the screen is stopped yelling in 30 days.
Trish:Her audio hook is a trending audio that like builds up some emotional anticipation.
Trish:All four components align around the value, not the process.
Trish:Then she creates curiosity loops throughout the content.
Trish:And if you guys are like, what the hell are you actually talking about?
Trish:Come to my sold out offer challenge, go to Trish word coaching.com/soo, we'll break it down.
Trish:So she creates a curiosity loop through the content.
Trish:Like throughout it, the, the real breakthrough wasn't about anger management, it was about what she discovered about herself at 3:00 AM and I'll show you that in a minute.
Trish:So she's created a curiosity loop, which means they have to keep watching to get back to find out what the answer is.
Trish:By the time she mins her program, her audience isn't thinking, is 497 worth it for confidence coaching?
Trish:They're thinking, is 497 worth it to become the mom?
Trish:I really wanna be and break the generational patterns, completely different value equation.
Trish:So here's the content formula that works every time.
Trish:Hook, lead with the transformation, the outcome, not the method.
Trish:Lead with the outcome.
Trish:You hear me?
Trish:Lead with the outcome story show, the before and after.
Trish:Focus on her emotions.
Trish:Then the value.
Trish:Give them a taste of the solution.
Trish:Why do I need this?
Trish:What is, what's like, take that picture of hope.
Trish:So in the beginning, you're leading with.
Trish:We've got two different ways that we do this.
Trish:So this one we're talking about leading with the outcome, not the method.
Trish:Whenever you're selling your offer, it's a little different than your, content that is building engagement and building followers.
Trish:When we're doing sales content, we wanna lead with.
Trish:The outcome, not the method.
Trish:Then we go into a story that focuses on emotions, show the before and after.
Trish:Then we give them a taste of the hope of what, painting the picture of their future.
Trish:So that's the value.
Trish:Then the CTA, after you give the value, position your offer as the answer to them reaching what they see as hopeful, right?
Trish:The second P is using your content to position yourself as premium.
Trish:And this is where most female entrepreneurs sabotage themselves.
Trish:I tell my clients, you are the, like the tongue tie expert, Lisa Paladino, she's one of my clients.
Trish:She's the tongue tie expert.
Trish:Most female entrepreneurs think they need to be relatable and accessible, so they create content that makes them seem just like everyone else.
Trish:But here's the problem, if you're just like everyone else, why should someone pay you?
Trish:Why would they pay you, and why would they pay you premium prices?
Trish:Instead, you need to use what I call the contrarian positioning in your content.
Trish:Here's how this works.
Trish:You take the common advice in your industry and show why it's wrong.
Trish:This immediately positions you as the expert who knows something, others don't.
Trish:And let me show you another example.
Trish:So we've got someone who is creating content about positive thinking and self-help.
Trish:Her contrarian content is why just think positive is actually toxic to moms and what to do instead.
Trish:Because a lot of people are telling moms, just think positive.
Trish:Flip your mindset.
Trish:And she is.
Trish:Positioning herself immediately as someone who thinks differently, who has insights that others don't.
Trish:Just by saying that she's not competing on price anymore, she's competing on expertise, and she uses the investigator hook archetype, which is something like, I discovered something about mom mindset that nobody talks about, and it's going to change everything you think, you know?
Trish:So that's like the investigator, they're like, why?
Trish:Why?
Trish:What did she discover?
Trish:I need to find out.
Trish:She investigated and now they wanna investigate.
Trish:The content structure follows the viral framework.
Trish:We always want to set up what everyone believes and introduce while they're wrong.
Trish:So what we talk about is you're gonna like set it up with that belief that they have.
Trish:Like what are they believing That is like a limiting belief or a broken belief.
Trish:Then you are going to.
Trish:Introduce why they're wrong and you're gonna introduce your unique solution.
Trish:And then bridge to your offer.
Trish:I call that the content to sales bridge, and it's a little more in depth of that, and I teach it in the sold out offer challenge.
Trish:But here's the key.
Trish:You have to be able to back it up with proof, whether it's case studies, where it's your own your own results, share client results, share your patient's results, demonstrate your expertise.
Trish:So you're not just being contrarian for attention, you're being contrarian because you genuinely believe there's a different way.
Trish:This type of content does two things.
Trish:It attracts people who are frustrated with the normal solution and it positions you as the premium expert who has the real answer.
Trish:So when you launch your program, you're not competing with the $97 mindset courses or whatever.
Trish:Your industry in you are a category of one.
Trish:That makes all the difference.
Trish:I have a client who, she came to me, she's a birth educator.
Trish:She's a labor and delivery nurse just like I am, and I work with a lot of birth workers.
Trish:But what made her a category of one is that she created, we worked together to come up with her category of one, and hers is faith over fear.
Trish:She created a faith-filled birth course that made her a category of one.
Trish:The third P is using buyer psychology in your messaging.
Trish:And this is where understanding the mom market becomes your superpower.
Trish:And here's what most people don't understand and absolutely no coaches understand about selling to moms besides me, which makes me a category of one.
Trish:Moms don't buy products.
Trish:They buy peace of mind.
Trish:They buy time freedom.
Trish:They buy better outcomes for them and their families, specifically their families.
Trish:So your content needs to speak to these deeper psychological drivers.
Trish:So let me break that down with a real example.
Trish:Let's say you teach moms how to start online businesses.
Trish:Hello.
Trish:You could create content like five ways to make money online, but that's not how a mom brains works.
Trish:Instead, you need to say something like, how I stop feeling guilty about screen time by building a business during nap time.
Trish:Okay.
Trish:My story, right?
Trish:See the difference?
Trish:She's not selling a business opportunity.
Trish:She's selling freedom from Mom Guild and the ability to create a financially stable future without sacrificing her time with her babies.
Trish:Then we go into what I call the content bridge, right?
Trish:So you acknowledge the pain, I know you feel guilty about screen time.
Trish:You meet them where they're at.
Trish:Like, I felt the same way until blank, right?
Trish:Because I did personally.
Trish:Then you paint the picture of the solution.
Trish:You show them the hope.
Trish:Here's what changed everything.
Trish:Then you're gonna bridge to you not only being the expert, but your offer being the answer.
Trish:And you bridge to the offer through showing your authority and showing the outcome of what your offer gives to them, which again, I'm, I teach this all in the sold out offer challenge now.
Trish:When you are creating content, you have to create open loops so that they come a right back around and they wanna stay.
Trish:Each loop addresses a different psychological trigger that moms specifically face.
Trish:But the secret sauce is you have to give them permission.
Trish:Moms need permission to invest into themselves and they need permission.
Trish:Also to pay premium prices, right?
Trish:Permission to want more.
Trish:So with this, you know, if I'm selling, here's how to create your business, my content consistently has to give the permission.
Trish:You know, it's not selfish to want financial freedom.
Trish:It's responsible.
Trish:It's not selfish to want to build a business and create this new life.
Trish:This is going to fund your family dreams.
Trish:So when you pitch your, you know.
Trish:$3,000 program.
Trish:The audience isn't thinking that's expensive.
Trish:They're thinking, I deserve this.
Trish:My family deserves this.
Trish:This is smart.
Trish:Okay, so let me show you how to put all this together in a short little podcast episode, right?
Trish:We want a content strategy that supports premium pricing, and premium pricing looks different for all of this.
Trish:It looks different for my birth course as opposed to my coaching.
Trish:So the framework I teach is we have to always create content that shows the outcome that you provide.
Trish:Do not say we have 10 modules that take six hours, and inside each module, I have the download and a blah, blah, blah.
Trish:They don't care about that.
Trish:You have to talk about the outcome.
Trish:So create a lot of content that talks about the outcome.
Trish:You have to create content that builds authority.
Trish:So I teach inspirational educational.
Trish:Authority.
Trish:I blinked for there minute there.
Trish:Real mom life right here.
Trish:So you're gonna create content that creates authority and you can use contrarian content that positions you as the expert.
Trish:You can use behind the scenes.
Trish:You can use investigator, you can do something like the secret about blank, your topic that nobody talks about.
Trish:You also have to provide social proof that also builds authority.
Trish:Share client results, case studies, use, you know, fortune teller type of content.
Trish:This is going to change how you think about blank forever.
Trish:You also have to give them permission.
Trish:Create content that gives your audience permission to invest in themselves.
Trish:So you could do something like, here's why investing in your birth isn't selfish.
Trish:Each piece of content should lead with emotion and back up with logic and create curiosity loops that keep people.
Trish:Hanging on, whether they're watching or reading, I 100% have grown over 650,000 followers by using video and static posts and carousels.
Trish:So you should be doing it all.
Trish:I'm gonna tell you that educational content is not dead.
Trish:Stand on that hill till I die, create curiosity loops that keep people watching.
Trish:Position your solution as the premium option.
Trish:You are the.
Trish:Fill in expertise.
Trish:Give your audience permission to want more.
Trish:The goal isn't viral content.
Trish:I'm not about that.
Trish:It's about creating content that primes your audience to say yes to your premium pricing.
Trish:And when you get this right, everyone wins.
Trish:You make more money working with fewer clients, and your clients get better results because they're more invested and you can create even better content because you're not stressed about the money.
Trish:So here's what I want you to do right now.
Trish:I want you to audit your current content.
Trish:Are you leading with features?
Trish:Benefits.
Trish:Are you talking about what you do or what your customers get?
Trish:Are you like positioning the outcome?
Trish:Are you positioning yourself as affordable or valuable?
Trish:Are you a unique expertise?
Trish:Are you positioning yourself as the one second?
Trish:I want you to choose one piece of content.
Trish:You can recreate using the framework.
Trish:Take something that talks about your process and reframe it around the outcome.
Trish:Third, start thinking like your BFE.
Trish:What keeps you up at night?
Trish:What does she really want?
Trish:How can your solution give her that?
Trish:But if you wanna go even deeper and if you want templates, and we'll talk about strategies I use with my clients, I want to invite you to join my Sold Out offer challenge as a VIP.
