progress is better than perfection, but as you get into your mojo and your process, you're gonna create better and better content.
Trish:It's really about being efficient and productivity.
Trish:We don't quit our normal jobs.
Trish:To build a business that then sucks away all our time.
Trish:Because the reason you're doing this, the reason you're growing an online business is so that you have more freedom.
Trish:Welcome to Sold Out Sales School, the podcast for women with heart led impact driven offers who are tired of being the Internet's best kept secret.
Trish:I'm Trish Ware, mom of seven, former labor nurse turned seven, figure business owner and business mentor for B2C brands.
Trish:If you're marketing to moms.
Trish:Parents or real people who are not gonna make money off your offer.
Trish:This show was made for you.
Trish:You tried the big name coaches, but their strategies weren't built for your audience.
Trish:Here we do sales differently.
Trish:No bro marketing.
Trish:No cold dms, no weird hooks.
Trish:No fake urgency, just clear messaging aligned offers and strategy that actually converts.
Trish:You are not here to hustle harder and miss all your family events.
Trish:You're here to scale smarter with simplicity.
Trish:So let's get you sold out.
Trish:So I'm gonna be talking about batch producing content, and I'm gonna give you guys kind of an insider glimpse at what I do on Labor Nurse Mama.
Trish:I don't produce as much content over here as I do on my main account, which is Labor Nurse Mama, and we produce, we put out anywhere from 10 to 30 pieces of content per day on Labor Nurse Mama.
Trish:So I wanted to kind of give you guys.
Trish:An inside glimpse.
Trish:So we're gonna talk about the importance of batch producing, scheduling your content, because here's what's gonna happen.
Trish:If you don't get into a good routine of creating your content in an organized way, you are gonna end up enslaved to this little guy right here, this phone, and your family will resent you.
Trish:You will get overwhelmed and you're gonna hear things like you've always got your face in your phone or you know, you'll just be too busy.
Trish:So batch producing your content is really, really important.
Trish:And I have kind of a system and a method that I teach my clients, and I'm gonna give you guys kind of the inside glimpse of that, of what I do.
Trish:So this is totally like.
Trish:Raw and real.
Trish:But I'm gonna show you what I do so, scheduling content really is about having a plan.
Trish:But before you can have a plan and before you can get really organized, you have to have your content pillars.
Trish:So for Labor Nurse, mama, I have five content pillars.
Trish:We've got pregnancy, birth, baby, postpartum, and then engagement is one of my pillars.
Trish:So.
Trish:What I also have scheduled out is not only my content, but when I go live, when my podcast episodes, release, we actually just planned out in our entire year of launches as well.
Trish:Everything is organized and planned because if you don't do that, you will really find yourself not having a healthy work life balance.
Trish:This is really important.
Trish:So when I talk about batch producing content, sometimes I do two weeks ahead.
Trish:Sometimes I do 30 days ahead, ideally 30 days ahead.
Trish:Now I do on labor nurse Mama, I do in feed posts, I do lives and I do reels.
Trish:If you do not get in a good habit, you're gonna feel like you're constantly trying to catch up.
Trish:You're constantly thinking things like, oh my God, what do I post today?
Trish:So having a system, and what's really nice about having a system is that if you finally get to a point where you hire someone to over your social media.
Trish:I always teach my clients to do loom videos and record what they're doing and all their processes.
Trish:So that when they do hire someone to take over, they already have their operating procedures ready.
Trish:So let me kind of show you just a little insight.
Trish:My planner for labor nurse mama.
Trish:And I've got my content pillars at the top.
Trish:So I've got pregnancy, birth, postpartum baby breastfeeding, formula and engagement.
Trish:And what I do is at the beginning of the month, I go through here and I plan out the topic so what I mean by the topic, so when I plan out the month.
Trish:I make sure that I kind of just sit down and brainstorm, but it's not random.
Trish:I go in and I have a research process of what's trending, what do these people want to hear?
Trish:What are people searching when it comes to pregnancy, birth, postpartum, or in this case on this account, what are people wanting to know when it comes to social media or business growth?
Trish:And I just brainstorm, right?
Trish:I have a list of brainstorming.
Trish:I put it all in there and then I start going from there to planning the content.
Trish:And what I do for Labor Nurse Mama when it comes to filming reels is I have a folder on my phone that has my different content, my, content pillars, so pregnancy, postpartum, baby feeding, engagement.
Trish:And when I'm out and about and I film some B-roll film, I just throw it into that folder so it's ready to go.
Trish:Then a couple times a month I put my scrubs on and I just film a bunch of reels and that way I have it.
Trish:And then I have a system of reposting.
Trish:I've been doing this since:Trish:But what I like about this account is that it doesn't have to be like, you know, me and my scrubs with a pelvis or boobs, it's just me.
Trish:So it's much easier.
Trish:So my next flow, is I take those pillars and I plan out the month with the content, right?
Trish:So this, I have not started in progress, whatever.
Trish:If you join my Instagram class or you're one of my clients, you get access to all of my content planning.
Trish:I literally, there's no gatekeeping at all.
Trish:So it really, the benefits of scheduling and batch producing your content is that, first of all, you're gonna have consistency.
Trish:I have grown to over 416,000 followers because I'm dependable.
Trish:And I'm consistent.
Trish:I'm not wishy-washy with my content.
Trish:My content is all niche aligned.
Trish:If I've ever gone crazy and posted something outside of my niche, they don't like it.
Trish:They don't wanna see it from labor nurse, mama.
Trish:They just wanna see what they wanna see from me.
Trish:But by doing all of this, it streamlines my process.
Trish:It reduces my daily stress, and it helps me be able to work on the things that are actually going to be my $10,000 tasks, right?
Trish:The ones that are going to produce income for me.
Trish:Now my social media content is very important, but if I'm worrying about it every single day on what I'm gonna post, then I'm not doing the other things that are important, like nurturing my audience, like nurturing my students or working with my clients.
Trish:So when you schedule your content, you're also gonna improve the qu, the quality of your content, and you just give yourself more time for research, for refining your post and perfecting your post.
Trish:Now, I do teach that progress is better than perfection, but as you get into your mojo and your process, you're gonna create better and better content.
Trish:It's really about being efficient and productivity.
Trish:We don't quit our normal jobs.
Trish:To build a business that then sucks away all our time.
Trish:Because the reason you're doing this, the reason you're growing an online business is so that you have more freedom.
Trish:Whether it's money, it's time, it's location, whatever freedom you're looking for.
Trish:The other thing that you wanna do is know your numbers.
Trish:So at the end of the month before you produce the next month's content, you wanna go into your insights and see like, what resonated with my audience, what is working?
Trish:Look at all the things that are working and pull out of it, what those key ingredients that are similar, and then reproduce content along that line.
Trish:And again, just analyze and adjust and schedule.
Trish:When you batch produce your content, when you are intentionally knowing what your numbers are, that's when you're gonna start scaling.
Trish:But the most important thing is consistency, showing up, having your content and being niche aligned.
Trish:I hope that this little short training on batch producing and scheduling your content was helpful.
Trish:If there's anything.
Trish:That I can say to you as someone who is focused on social media growth and audiences, if you do not have a plan and a schedule and put up boundaries around your time, you are going to end up in the great Instagram phone suck, and you don't want to.
Trish:Okay?
Trish:As always, I hope you enjoyed this episode.
Trish:I'll see you again next week.
Trish:Bye for now.
