4 Essential Steps to Successfully Launch Your Digital Offer

In this quick-fire episode straight from the trenches of her own launch, Trish shares the 4 essential steps she’s used to go from zero to seven figures launching digital offers – like turning a $297 birth course into $24k in a week (and sometimes a day). No bro-marketing fluff, just real strategies for B2C creators selling to moms and families who consume (not resell) your magic.

If you’re tired of watered-down advice from coaches who’ve never sold to real people, this is your blueprint: Nail your audience, build a launch runway, dial in intentional content, and engage like a bestie. Trish pulls back the curtain on her exact playbook, including how she hits millions of views, 500+ DMs/day, and hundreds of sign-ups in launch mode – without burning out or missing family time.

💡 What You’ll Learn Inside This Episode

  1. Why nailing a hyper-specific audience is the difference between crickets and sold-out launches
  2. How to build a “launch runway” with behind-the-scenes peeks, countdowns, and major announcements to create buzz and get your list primed
  3. The content strategy for growth: Post 2-3x/day in launch mode (mix reels for eyes, carousels for nurture, lives for trust) – and why 3x/week “growth” advice is a lie
  4. Engagement hacks: Weekly Q&As, voice DMs, video replies, and answering EVERY comment/DM to build relationships that convert
  5. Why ads are non-negotiable for scaling to 7 figures – and how to nurture between launches for evergreen sales
  6. The power of lives, stories, and micro-experiences to showcase expertise and drive conversions

🔥 Mic-Drop Moments

“If you are too broad, you won’t attract anyone. It doesn’t resonate with people and it doesn’t sell.”

“Social media is like a coffee shop – if you show up every day ordering the same thing, eventually the baristas (algorithm) know your order before you walk in.”

“Posting willy-nilly will never grow you. Every piece of content should serve a purpose and lead your audience closer to your launch.”

“I make the majority of my sales in my DMs and in my stories.”

🧘🏽‍♀️ Quick Reflections for Your Next CEO Reset

  1. Who is my hyper-specific audience – and how can I dial down my offer to speak directly to their one main problem?
  2. What’s my launch runway plan: How will I build buzz with BTS, countdowns, and announcements?
  3. Am I posting strategically (2-3x/day in growth mode) or willy-nilly – and where can I add more engagement like Q&As or voice DMs?
  4. Does every piece of my content lead somewhere (e.g., to my offer) – or am I just dropping value without a bridge?

Trish:

Welcome to Sold Out Sales School, the podcast for women with heart led impact driven offers who are tired of being the Internet's best kept secret.

Trish:

I'm Trish Ware, mom of seven, former labor nurse turned seven, figure business owner and business mentor for B2C brands.

Trish:

If you're marketing to moms.

Trish:

Parents or real people who are not gonna make money off your offer.

Trish:

This show was made for you.

Trish:

You tried the big name coaches, but their strategies weren't built for your audience.

Trish:

Here we do sales differently.

Trish:

No bro marketing.

Trish:

No cold dms, no weird hooks.

Trish:

No fake urgency, just clear messaging aligned offers and strategy that actually converts.

Trish:

You are not here to hustle harder and miss all your family events.

Trish:

You're here to scale smarter with simplicity.

Trish:

So let's get you sold out.

Trish:

Hello everyone.

Trish:

Okay, so we're gonna talk really.

Trish:

Briefly, sure.

Trish:

'cause I am in the middle of a launch right now, over on Labor Nurse Moment.

Trish:

But I figured I would share with you guys what I do when we launch a digital offer, including what I did at the very beginning when I first started.

Trish:

So my name is Trish.

Trish:

A lot of people know me as labor nurse Mama.

Trish:

I was a long time labor and delivery nurse.

Trish:

16 years you guys, and.

Trish:In:Trish:

I had my blog and I focused on Pinterest.

Trish:

I mastered Pinterest.

Trish:And then in:Trish:

And I have built a very successful business inside of the birth education space.

Trish:

And the reason I tell you that is because a lot of people are trying to learn how to grow their Instagram, how to build a multiple six figure business like mine.

Trish:

But they're trying to learn it from people who have only.

Trish:

Grown on Instagram by teaching other business owners.

Trish:

There's a big difference between what works if you are teaching people who are gonna make money by what you do and what works with people who are going to consume what you do.

Trish:

So for me, my audience is the, it's mamas, right?

Trish:

It's families.

Trish:

So what works for them does not necessarily work for someone who is a business owner.

Trish:

So I really want you guys to understand that the strategies and the things that I use specifically with, social media are ones that work especially, well, you can use it with business owners because that can be applied both ways.

Trish:

But what you need to teach to a consumer and to market to a consumer is much.

Trish:

Different than what you use to market to someone who wants to make money.

Trish:

Even the terminology that you use is completely different.

Trish:

So what we're gonna talk about is what I consider to be four crucial steps that will help you create, launch, and sell out your offers.

Trish:

And just to give a little credence, when I built my birth course, which.

Trish:

Everything I'm telling you guys today, I've done, when I launched my very first offer, it was to the tune of 24,000, which was, I mean, that's like a quarter of what I made as a labor nurse for a year.

Trish:

I mean, that's like, uh, the quarter, if I worked three travel drops, three months, right?

Trish:

That was what I made as a travel, labor and delivery nurse.

Trish:

So.

Trish:

It was pretty nice to make that in a week, and now sometimes I make 24,000 in a day when we launch.

Trish:

So I just wanna share that I don't like to like post all the money I make because it's not really about money for me, it's more about the impact.

Trish:

So when you.

Trish:

Decide that you want to launch a digital offer, you have to be nailed down on who you're talking to.

Trish:

It cannot be watered down.

Trish:

So when I nailed my, you know, my audience, which is pregnant women, pretty dialed down, but it's even beyond that.

Trish:

I'm not talking to all pregnant women.

Trish:

I'm talking to a specific group of pregnant women.

Trish:

So my course speaks to a very specific group of pregnant women.

Trish:

So the very first step, write this down.

Trish:

This is really important because a lot of people don't even realize that they are not doing this is to be very.

Trish:

Targeted.

Trish:

So if you are launching a, let's, let me think of something off the cuff.

Trish:

Let's say you're launching a weight loss course.

Trish:

Okay.

Trish:

Yeah.

Trish:

A lot of people wanna lose weight, but you know how you make it sell out.

Trish:

Do you know how you make it?

Trish:

Get you thousands of dollars a day is by deciding you're going to be specifically for someone.

Trish:

So instead of a weight loss course, maybe your course is a how to lose weight for women over 50.

Trish:

Right, that's very nailed down.

Trish:

Or how to lose weight if you have thyroid issues.

Trish:

Again, very nailed down.

Trish:

That is the difference between an offer that just sits there and you know, bruise.

Trish:

And an offer that flies off the shelf is by nailing it down, dialing down if you are too broad, you won't attract anyone.

Trish:

It doesn't resonate with people and it doesn't sell.

Trish:

So you have to conduct surveys, you have to do interviews, market research, and I teach all of this inside of my coaching Mastermind, of course, how to do your market research, how to outline your demographics, your pain points, the desires of your BFE is what I call 'em, not your ideal client.

Trish:

Their buying behavior.

Trish:

Where, what are they consuming, where are they hanging out?

Trish:

All of those things matter.

Trish:

Then you have to be consistently engaging with your people, you do have to be consistent.

Trish:

So let's say your platform of choice.

Trish:

Pick one platform.

Trish:

You guys do not try to go to 50 different platforms, one platform.

Trish:

So let's say it's Instagram, that's my jam.

Trish:

So we'll talk about Instagram.

Trish:

If your platform is Instagram, you need to be consistently.

Trish:

Posting.

Trish:

You need to have content.

Trish:

Now.

Trish:

I'll just be real People who say you can post three times a week and grow, they're not telling the truth.

Trish:

It's not gonna happen.

Trish:

You need to be posting every day during a growth stage.

Trish:

I'm gonna show you what we do before we launch on Labor Nurse, mama, and the numbers we get.

Trish:

So these are my stories that when we are launching, so this has been the last 30 days.

Trish:

We've gone hard in the stories.

Trish:

We're very intentional and these are the numbers that we get when we're launch in launch mode, right?

Trish:

Getting ready for launch.

Trish:

You wanna be intentional?

Trish:

We do.

Trish:

I have a very specific science for getting these kind of numbers.

Trish:

On my stories and.

Trish:

There is a science to getting stories and increasing your views, but it all starts with showing up regularly.

Trish:

So I always tell my girls that social media is like a coffee shop, and if you go to the same coffee.

Trish:

Every single morning right on your way to work and you order the same coffee, eventually the baristas are gonna know, they're gonna be like, Hey, Trish, do you want your, skinny latte or whatever you're getting.

Trish:

It's the same thing with, social media.

Trish:

You're not just showing up for the people you wanna talk to.

Trish:

You're showing up for the algorithm and you're telling the

Trish:

algorithm

Trish:

Hey, this is what I'm gonna order every day, AKA, my niche.

Trish:

So serve it up to me.

Trish:

Give it to me before I even walk in the door.

Trish:

That's what you wanna do.

Trish:

So you have to use your social media wisely, and you have to make sure that you're dialed in on your niche.

Trish:

Again, I'll show you, let me see.

Trish:

This is what my last month has looked like as I've dialed in.

Trish:

Really been consistently now, I've been posting three times a day on labor Nurse Mama.

Trish:

As we lead up to open cart, and you can see it's paid off.

Trish:

We do use ads at this point, and anybody who tells you that you never have to use ads, they don't wanna scale.

Trish:

To scale from six to seven figures, you have to use ads plain and simple.

Trish:

So you have to engage with them.

Trish:

You have to show up consistently.

Trish:

If you wanna be in a period of social media growth, you need to be.

Trish:

Posting with strategy, not willy-nilly, three times a day, that's gonna give you the best growth.

Trish:

Two times a day is going to give you growth as well, but three times a day will blow it up if you are doing it the right way, if you have your messaging dialed in the way that your ideal person speaks, if you have.

Trish:

A strategy and a content plan, you're gonna grow.

Trish:

Posting willy-nilly will never grow you.

Trish:

So the next step, which I wanna talk about is the runway.

Trish:

So I alluded to that we are very intentional before we launch the courses or open enrollment or launch a new offer.

Trish:

So we have what we call our launch runway, and this is.

Trish:

Entirely to build excitement and get your audience ready.

Trish:

So, as you're in your launch runway, you're gonna share behind the scenes.

Trish:

You're gonna preview the offer.

Trish:

I will share like embarrassing outtakes with my audience.

Trish:

I get on there and I tell 'em how exhausted I am because oh my God, I'm planning for this open enrollment and I'm excited for you guys.

Trish:

My audience knows that I love them and my.

Trish:

Students are all over the place saying how much I love them and invest in them.

Trish:

You use countdowns, you use, uh, major as announcements to create excitement.

Trish:

You get your list excited.

Trish:

If you don't have a list, shame, shame on you because that is your most valuable tool that you have and you engage in them.

Trish:

So one thing I do consistently, well, several things I post daily.

Trish:

I also do a weekly q and a where I put up a question sticker in my stories, and then I answer 'em throughout the week.

Trish:

I interact with my content.

Trish:

We answer every comment, we answer every dm. We get upwards of 500 dms a day.

Trish:

You guys.

Trish:

500. Okay?

Trish:

And we engage with our audience.

Trish:

Now, I don't answer all of those.

Trish:

They assign the ones to me that they feel that maybe needs my labor and delivery expertise, or maybe just a little extra love that goes to me.

Trish:

Utilize your platforms, your list to create a buzz before you launch.

Trish:

Now, the next thing I wanna talk about is just being very intentional with your content.

Trish:

And I showed you my numbers that I have for my content.

Trish:

So.

Trish:

In a launch runway, we're getting millions of views.

Trish:

Okay?

Trish:

We will go from our normal, so we go from one to 2 million to like seven to 10 million, and we do that intentionally.

Trish:

And the reason we don't have seven to 10 million.

Trish:

When we're not a launch runway, it's because it's exhausting.

Trish:

It's really exhausting, but we nurture in between.

Trish:

We nurture and we build relationships, and we nurture them.

Trish:

So you wanna make sure you have a content calendar.

Trish:

This is why if you join my Insta Experts class.

Trish:

For my coaching mastermind, we're gonna really create a content calendar that aligns with you and your launch timeline.

Trish:

You wanna share content that educates and nurtures and builds excitement.

Trish:

So how do you get more eyes reels?

Trish:

How do you nurture carousels and in infeed posts lives, stories.

Trish:

And building relationship through comments and dms.

Trish:

I make the majority of my sales in my dms and in my stories if that tells you anything.

Trish:

So make sure that every piece of content serves a purpose and it should line up with your content pillars.

Trish:

It should lead your audience where you want them to go.

Trish:

Which is closer to your launch now, hopefully you get to a place where you're in an evergreen mode, where you're constantly leading them to your digital offer, but this is when you first start and you're launching.

Trish:

Now we have our offers open all year, and we do little strategies.

Trish:

Throughout the week for them, but we do four to six times a a year, we do a big strategy that gets more and more eyes and, and yesterday we had hundreds join us.

Trish:

So you wanna really have a robust strategy and this is going to maximize your reach.

Trish:

And your conversions.

Trish:

'cause it's all about the conversions.

Trish:

Whether it's converting them to followers, converting them to students or members.

Trish:

So make sure you're hosting live classes or AKA webinars, I hate saying webinars, masterclass, workshop, training, whatever.

Trish:

I hate the word webinar.

Trish:

So that you're providing value and showcasing your expertise.

Trish:

You wanna go live.

Trish:

We go live every Thursday on both accounts.

Trish:

I do a, I say we.

Trish:

Someone in my pocket, but I go live, I share stories, and my stories are where I show that I'm a person and I can relate to them, and that keeps my momentum going.

Trish:

And then I post consistently, like I said, when we're in launch mode, two to three times a day, typically three.

Trish:

Usually one reel, two in feed, or two reels, and one in feed.

Trish:

Then I use live interactions, stickers, and my stories to build trust and answer their questions.

Trish:

I do a lot of my dms with my voice and I do a lot of, my answers to those stickers with video, so they get to know me.

Trish:

So.

Trish:

Just to recap, you have to identify your target audience, create a runway, a launch runway, and then you have to be intentional with your content and have a solid strategy.

Trish:

Hopefully you found this, helpful.

Trish:

If you're ready to freaking go hard, then you can message me and I can tell you about my coaching mastermind.
