Trish is calling out the thing that nobody in the coaching industry wants to name out loud – and it’s not your funnel, your content strategy, or your posting schedule.
It’s what’s happening inside your head.
If you’ve ever thought “moms just won’t pay that much,” slashed your price the second someone went quiet in the DMs, or convinced yourself you need one more thing in place before you can launch – this episode is going to hit you somewhere uncomfortable. And that’s exactly the point. Trish breaks down six specific broke-ass beliefs that are quietly keeping women stuck at the same number month after month, calls out exactly what’s really happening when those thoughts show up, and gives you the millionaire thought to flip each one – so you can stop dressing fear up as logic and start making decisions like the woman you’re trying to become.
This is not the fluffy stuff. This is the real work.

Okay, so before I even introduce myself today, I want you to do something for me real quick.
Trish:I need you to think about the last time that you had a thought like this: People aren't gonna pay that much.
Trish:Or maybe it was like, I'm gonna launch when I have everything in order, everything's ready, so I can't even start talking about it yet Or one of my favorites, " I've been trying this for, like, two months, and it's not working, so I'm gonna create something new because she's doing it, and it's working for her."
Trish:So if any of those thoughts landed, this episode is for you, and honestly, it might be the most important 20 minutes you spend on your business this week.
Trish:Hi.
Trish:If you're new here, I'm Trish Ware.
Trish:I'm a mom of seven.
Trish:Yes, seven, and I'm also a Gigi.
Trish:I'm a former labor and delivery nurse of over 16 years, and I've built two seven-figure businesses, Labor Nurse Mama, which you may know me from Instagram or the podcast, The Birth Experience, and also Trish Ware Coaching, where I specifically work with women who sell offers to moms and parents, which makes me a unicorn coach.
Trish:Today, we're gonna talk about something that not a lot of people are talking about in the coaching industry because they want to avoid some of this because most coaches are teaching you strategy, or they're teaching the fluffy fluff, the woo stuff.
Trish:We're gonna talk about something that a lot of people are not saying out loud about the coaching industry.
Trish:There's, like, two camps, okay?
Trish:The bro marketing camp and then the woo-woo fluff-fluff stuff without strategy.
Trish:So some people are teaching you all the strategy, and some of you are being taught only the woo stuff, the, you know, step into your feminine energy, when the real problem is what's happening up in your head, in your thoughts, and in the stories you've been telling yourself about why you're not succeeding or why you're not hitting the numbers you actually want.
Trish:And I call them broke ass beliefs.
Trish:And I promise you, every single one of my clients who's stuck right now is holding onto some of these, like three or four of them probably.
Trish:So we're gonna name them.
Trish:We're gonna call them out, and then I'm gonna give you the flip, which is what I call a millionaire thought, so that you can start doing that in real time.
Trish:And here's the deal.
Trish:I don't care if you've made $0 or six figures.
Trish:This is such a real problem, so let's go.
Trish:Before we dive in, I want to say something, and I need you to hear it.
Trish:Mindset work is not woo-woo.
Trish:It's not just journaling affirmations and writing, "I am capable. I am worthy," on a sticky note and put it on your mirror.
Trish:That is okay, but that is not mindset work.
Trish:Real mindset work is identifying, like pinpointing the exact thought that's keeping you from posting, the exact belief that made you discount your price in the DMs because you had this moment of panic, and the exact story you're telling yourself about why that other person is growing and you're not, even though you have more experience, more credentials, and more time in the industry than she does.
Speaker:I've been in rooms where I don't yet belong, right?
Speaker:I've been in rooms when I was hardly making anything, and I'm in rooms with six-figure owners, and then I've been in rooms with seven and eight and nine-figure business owner.
Speaker:And here's what I've seen.
Speaker:They do not have better offers than you.
Speaker:They don't.
Speaker:They're just super confident and certain, and the women who show up with that confidence and that certainty are the ones who are making the money.
Speaker:And I know that might be annoying to hear, but it is the truth, and I would rather, like, stick you with the truth than sell you a funnel template.
Speaker:Also, and this is really important, money does not fix this.
Speaker:I have had six-figure weeks, five-figure days, and then woken up and felt like an imposter.
Speaker:So if you're thinking, "Well, it's easy for you to say because you're making so much money," or, "I'll feel better when I hit a certain number," I hate to tell you that is literally not how it works.
Speaker:This is something you have to work on all the time, which is exactly why I have a dedicated mindset coach inside my mastermind because strategy alone will never get you there, ever.
Speaker:So we're gonna cover your broke-ass beliefs.
Speaker:So here are six broke beliefs that we gots to talk about.
Speaker:Broke belief number one, " Well, maybe people can't afford my prices.
Speaker:Like, a mom's never gonna pay that." Okay, this one.
Speaker:This one I hear all the time, and I'm gonna be very honest with you about what's actually happening when you think this, 'cause I promise you, someone out there is charging more than you.
Speaker:What you're doing is you're projecting your own money story, your own money beliefs, onto your BFE, your audience.
Speaker:That's it.
Speaker:That is all that's happening.
Speaker:And I wanna tell you a quick story.
Speaker:I had a client, she was working with me one-on-one, and at some point I assumed she couldn't go to the next level.
Speaker:I didn't say it, but I held back on certain conversations because I was like, " Oh, she probably can't do that."
Speaker:And then she joined another mastermind, double my price, and I was like, "Wait, what?" We had done, like, a one-off call, and I just really didn't think she could afford She Rises.
Speaker:It wasn't that she couldn't afford it, it was that I wasn't conveying the outcome clearly enough for her to feel like my mastermind was worth it, and that was on me, not on her bank account.
Speaker:Baby, let me tell you, I do not do that anymore.
Speaker:But here's the thing that kills me.
Speaker:Think about who you're marketing to.
Speaker:Moms.
Speaker:And you can't tell me that there's not moms out there who will push a $2,000 stroller for a baby that has no idea that they're in this glam stroller and will never remember it.
Speaker:That's not resisting prices.
Speaker:They are paying for the outcome, and the outcome in that case is they're pushing this gorgeous stroller, right?
Speaker:So the millionaire thought, "There is a buyer for every price point. My job is to convey the outcome clearly enough that she believes it's real." You need to listen to my episode all about Hawaii being the outcome.
Speaker:Okay, broke belief number two.
Speaker:Nobody's buying.
Speaker:Like, nobody's wanting it.
Speaker:They ghost me when I say it, so let me do a discount.
Speaker:When you discount your offer every single time it doesn't sell, you're telling yourself and them that you don't fully believe the outcome is worth the price that you're charging, and that is not a good thing.
Speaker:Because here's the truth.
Speaker:If you believed in your offer so wholeheartedly, even if you were so freaking confident in the result you deliver, you would not be reaching for a discount button every time you get crickets.
Speaker:You'd be thinking, "Okay, something's off in how I'm saying it.
Speaker:Let me look at that.
Speaker:Let me get curious.
Speaker:Let me ask questions.
Speaker:Let me stop assuming." Not, "Let me slash the price and see if that fixes it." Guaranteed is not gonna fix it.
Speaker:Discounting is not a sales strategy.
Speaker:It's fear, and your audience can feel the difference.
Speaker:There are times that we do sales.
Speaker:I'm not saying we don't.
Speaker:But when you're in the DMs and,
Speaker:You drop the price, and then they say nothing, and you're like, "Hey, I can offer you a discount," girl, you just shot yourself in the foot.
Speaker:The millionaire thought, this is how I want you to reframe it.
Speaker:If it's not selling, I have a messaging problem, not a pricing problem.
Speaker:Same offer, different words, completely different sales.
Speaker:Okay.
Speaker:Broke ass belief number three.
Speaker:I'm not launching until it's perfect.
Speaker:Like, I've got it there, but I know there's some things I need to do.
Speaker:I need to work on my course.
Speaker:You know, this one, this one is so sneaky because it disguises itself as a quality standard.
Speaker:I just wanna make sure it's really good for my BFE, for my people.
Speaker:And maybe some of that is true, but mostly you're hiding behind almost ready, behind let me tweak this one more time, behind I need a better photo, a better sales page, a better name for the program.
Speaker:Here's what I tell my clients.
Speaker:If your offer is good, if you genuinely believe in the impact you're delivering, you could put it in a Google Doc and sell it with just a link, a link and a smile.
Speaker:Now, is this scalable long-term?
Speaker:Probably not, but it will tell you immediately whether people want what you have, and that is data.
Speaker:That is what you need right now, not a prettier funnel.
Speaker:Nobody is knocking down your door waiting for you to get it perfect, and if people are knocking down your door saying they want it, sell the darn thing.
Speaker:Sell it as is.
Speaker:So launch the imperfect thing, please, I'm begging you.
Speaker:Perfection disrupts connection.
Speaker:I've built my entire brand around that because I believe it so deeply.
Speaker:The more polished and curated and perfect you try to be, the less people trust you.
Speaker:Real connects, perfect performs.
Speaker:Okay, so what's the millionaire thought?
Speaker:Done and launched beats perfect and hidden every single time.
Speaker:You will never make money if you keep hiding.
Speaker:I can only refine something that exists.
Speaker:Launch it imperfectly and then refine it.
Speaker:Okay, broke-ass belief number four: this isn't working, I need to create something new How many of y'all are raising your hand right now?
Speaker:How many have I just, like, popped you right in the gut?
Speaker:I call this shiny penny syndrome, which I have two parts to that.
Speaker:One is buying all the new things, switching your strategies.
Speaker:But this can be something that can be really stressful, and I've done it before.
Speaker:It's an embarrassingly bad problem, right?
Speaker:Here's what's going on when you're thinking this way.
Speaker:You- you've sold your offer maybe five times, maybe 10, or you've sold it a lot, and you're like, "Ooh, that's selling good.
Speaker:Let me make something else." Or it's not flying off the shelves the way you imagined, and instead of thinking, "How do I refine this?"
Speaker:You go to Instagram, you see what someone else is doing, and you think, " Oh, maybe I should do that." But Every time you restart, you start at ground zero.
Speaker:You have no data, no refinement, no momentum, and you cannot collect data on something you keep abandoning.
Speaker:And data is the game.
Speaker:That's the whole game.
Speaker:Data tells you what your audience responds to.
Speaker:Data tells you what messaging is landing and what isn't.
Speaker:Without data, you are just guessing, and guessing gets really exhausting really fast.
Speaker:I always say this, I know where I am today is not because I'm, like, so much better than you or smarter.
Speaker:I'm a never giver upper, and I've had so many situations where no one shows up.
Speaker:I've had workshops that literally crickets, but I didn't quit, I refined.
Speaker:I didn't scratch the whole thing.
Speaker:I refined and repeated.
Speaker:Review, refine, repeat.
Speaker:That's my thing.
Speaker:All right.
Speaker:What's your millionaire thought here?
Speaker:I'm gonna go all in on this offer until it sells.
Speaker:I'm gonna refine.
Speaker:I'm not gonna restart.
Speaker:The money is in the mundane, ladies, period.
Speaker:In the boring stuff, okay?
Speaker:Broke ass belief number five: Well, if I had as many followers as her, I could sell.
Speaker:Like, I need more followers before I can really sell.
Speaker:I built my coaching business from scratch without ever using Labor Nurse Mama as a platform, on purpose.
Speaker:I didn't wanna bleed the two brands together.
Speaker:So if I hear you saying you can't sell because you don't have enough followers, I'm gonna call that out lovingly but directly.
Speaker:Followers do not equal sales.
Speaker:Relationships do.
Speaker:Micro-experiences do.
Speaker:You only need 100 people who trust you rather than 10,000 people who just followed you on a whim, right?
Speaker:Who've never really felt or experienced you.
Speaker:I have had one-on-one clients who come to me with hundreds of thousands of followers who launched to crickets, and I've watched women with under 1,000 followers hitting consistent five-figure months because they showed up, they were very specific, they didn't care about opening up the gate to everyone.
Speaker:They opened up a narrow little gate to their ideal BFE, and then they let them experience them.
Speaker:So visibility is not your problem, sis.
Speaker:Clarity is.
Speaker:When you know exactly who you're talking to and exactly what you're solving for her Creating content takes minutes instead of hours, and you stop the spinning inside of your brain, and selling feels amazing because you know you're creating impact in that one person's life.
Speaker:So your millionaire thought, "I don't need more followers, I need more connection with the right people." 100 raving fans beat 10,000 passive scrollers.
Speaker:All right.
Speaker:Belief number six, I need more proof before I can charge that amount.
Speaker:The value of your offer is not how much money you've made from it.
Speaker:So this one breaks my heart a little bit because the women who say this are usually the ones sitting on a mountain of proof that they are not using.
Speaker:I'm not talking about your offer selling.
Speaker:Proof is not the same as credentials either.
Speaker:So let me say that again.
Speaker:Proof is not the same as credentials.
Speaker:You can shout your degrees and your certifications all day long.
Speaker:It will not sell your offer.
Speaker:What sells is when someone feels like you see them, when they read your content and think, "Oh my stars, how does she know that?"
Speaker:That's exactly me.
Speaker:I tell my clients, "You want them to be like, ' How did she know that?'" Your proof could be an outcome that a family member had, a client who never paid you, a DM that said, "That changed everything for me," a comment, your own story.
Speaker:I always tell everyone, I would have paid the woman who lived my experience with my ex, he had a traumatic brain injury, and I would have paid to just be in the room with someone who understood exactly what I went through, not because she was credentialed, but because she had experienced it.
Speaker:Every single time, that is how moms and parents and consumers operate.
Speaker:Stop waiting for permission to charge your worth.
Speaker:Decide right now your offer is worth what you're charging.
Speaker:The decision comes first, the confidence follows.
Speaker:So your millionaire thought is, "I already have proof.
Speaker:I'm just not using it, and I don't need permission to charge what I'm worth.
Speaker:I just need to decide."
Speaker:Okay, six broke-ass beliefs, and I want you to go back through and be very honest with yourself about which one is yours or how many are yours, right?
Speaker:Because most of us have more than one, and that is not because you're, like, a failure or you're messed up and you're never gonna succeed.
Speaker:That is just being a human in a really hard industry.
Speaker:I'm not the coach who's gonna fluff you up and say this is gonna be easy.
Speaker:It's hard.
Speaker:So here's what I want you to remember.
Speaker:Broke beliefs are not facts.
Speaker:They feel like facts.
Speaker:They sound like logic, but they are fears dressed up in what you think is truth.
Speaker:And millionaire thoughts are not delulu delusion.
Speaker:They are decisions.
Speaker:You decide first, then you step into being her.
Speaker:So I want you to write down one broke belief you've been holding onto and write the flip.
Speaker:What is the millionaire thought that replaces it?
Speaker:Put it somewhere you can see it, not a sticky note that collects dust, maybe as your, your background for your phone, somewhere you'll actually look at it every single day
Speaker:Now, if this episode hit you and you're like, "Holy smoke, Trish.
Speaker:You're right.
Speaker:I'm holding onto broke-ass beliefs.
Speaker:I need to flip them," if you felt yourself in some of them, I wanna hear from you.
Speaker:So come find me on Instagram @iamtrishwear.
Speaker:Send me a DM. Tell me which broke belief you've been holding onto, and let's chat on how we can flip it.
Speaker:And if you're a woman who sells to moms or parents and you're ready to stop spinning, you know that other coaches do not understand moms or parents or marketing to them, you're done doing this alone, and you wanna start building something real, you have two options.
Speaker:Look at my Sold Out Offer Challenge.
Speaker:We do it every six weeks.
Speaker:It's where we go deep on your offer, your message, and how to get in front of the right people.
Speaker:Join VIP.
Speaker:You'll get also five hours of coaching from me, and the link is in the show notes, or you can go to trishwearcoaching.com/soo.

Speaker:So I will see you again next week.
Speaker:Don't forget, if you're not selling, you're not going to sell, okay?
Speaker:So if you don't sell, you won't sell.
Speaker:So let's flip those beliefs.
Speaker:Let's take action, 'cause action takers are money makers, and I'll see you again next week.
Speaker:Bye for now.
